Blog marking

Hi Ana,

A good blog, though you mostly seem to be using text and photos in your posting so far. You can use Slideshare, Prezi etc. to make your blog more interesting and attractive. Your initial posts on What is a Title Sequence  & Art of the Title are very good, detailed and well written. Please try and keep this level of detail in all posts and keep summarising what you have learnt, some of your later photo-only posts but don't show this level of detail. I note that you haven't yet posted your Xmas HW, your assessment of your remake or an individual analysis of your favourite opening. Please get these done asap so you can put all of your focus onto creating good planning. Thanks Dan

21. Blogging Health Check

11 posts at health check 2.  Amy you are likely to be a bit disappointed with this grade but I'm afraid that your blog is missing several posts and you are now a little bit behind.  But fear not - you can sort this out quickly if you follow the instructions below.  What you have posted is mostly well detailed and you are using different methods of presentation.  To improve you must do the following:
- keep up to date with the checklist.  You should be blogging around 2-3 times a week.  Set aside one lunchtime (perhaps a day when you don't have a lesson straight after lunch) and come up to 323 to do your blogging.
- catch up to date with the missing posts (post 6, 7 14, 16 and 17).
- vary the methods of presentation as we move into the next phase of the production, using perhaps Thinglink, Timetoast or camtasia.
- make sure that all posts are correctly numbered and including either 'research', 'planning' or 'construction' in the title so that the moderator knows where to look.  Very easily sorted by the next health check though

17) The Breakfast Club Remake Evaluation

The Breakfast Club title sequence practical activity was good as we filmed it precisely and followed the storyboard. Also the different shot fitted well with the dialogue of The Breakfast club and the shots were seamless. As well as this, the props used in the filming of the scenes were accurate with the original title sequence. However we did not finish filming the whole title sequence (library scene was cut from the title). Also the credits were not placed exactly where the original credits were placed due to the editing process on Final Cut Pro not allowing us to place the credits where we wanted.
